Where To Buy Schwinn 140 Upright Exercise Bike

I don't actually own the Schwinn 140 exercise bike, but I was planning on buying one. Rather than ordering it from Amazon without trying it, I went to a local sporting goods store and tried it out. Glad I did!

The riding position of this bike was just awkward. It didn't feel right at all. It has a lot of adjustments but I still couldn't get it to feel like the bikes at the gym. I was also surprised how close my knees came to the handle bars. I wear 30" inseam pants, so I'm not tall.

Anyway, there was another bike to try at this store - a ProForm upright model with too many bells and whistles - games, ipod doc, etc - stuff I don't need. BUT, the riding position was comfortable, and the seat felt great. I didn't buy that one either, but it's on my list of possibilities. The Schwinn 140 is off that list.

Sorry, Schwinn, I really wanted to like you.
