I bought this bike about two months ago, and at first, I couldn't have been more pleased. The assembly took a bit of thinking, but it wasn't that difficult, and only took about a half-hour or so. The seat was solid as a rock, but I'd read the other reviews on here and ordered a gel seat at the same time, so that was never much of a problem.

However.

I'm 5'8", and this bike is a little too short for me. The seat is at its highest point, and my knees bump my forearms with every pedal. Also, I started on setting 5 of 8 (which was initially the perfect resistance), but when I went to move it up to 6, I noticed a horrible grinding sound, like the magnets in the bike had shifted. I can actually feel them scraping over each other with every pedal, and the sound is unacceptable. And finally, this bike doesn't fold up. You see the picture of the bike? From front to back, it reduces about a foot, and that's it. Hardly a stow-away size.

I am deeply unsatisfied with this bike, and am currently searching for schematics so that I can repair it myself (as the company in question won't listen to either requests for maintenance or return).

This bike uses magnets for resistance and they may wipe a computer's memory if the bike is located too close to a computer. The magnets are in a beefy plastic cover but better safe than sorry. My bike was about 4-5 feet from my computer and the weekend after purchase, the 'help' features stopped working on one of my computer's programs. It may be a coincidence, but again, better safe than sorry. My advice is to store this and a computer in separate rooms. Also, if you plan to use a laptop while riding... better check with a computer expert because your laptop's software may be affected. Great bike though...

This bike is a real disappointment. I'm 190 lb and work out regularly and like to bike for hours which is impossible to do on this bike since it is very hard to pedal even on the lowest setting. Waste of $$$.

Great bike!!! Super quiet. I read some previous reviews and found some errors in them - the bike monitor is easy to reset (someone wrote that you have to take out the batteries to do that - you don't, just press the reset button for a few seconds! People need to read the instructions) and the seat is adjustable - I'm 5'3'' and do not find the seat too high at all. Enjoy! Great buy!

OK, I was a little bit concerned with the low price... BUT... it is everything I hoped for...

Easy to assemble (although I never did figure out step 2 - remove bolts from lower leg - HUH? apparently it didn't make a difference)

Quiet to use.

Easy to move.

Good solid construction.

Despite other reviews, the seat is fine (maybe they updated it).

I'm not a fitness freak, and I have the tension setting on 6 out of 8. So if you're looking for a really vigorous workout, this may NOT be the bike for you.

At half the price of other exercise bikes.. this is definitely a bargain and worth the money.

If you are looking for a small, ultra quiet, foldable exercise bike, this one is for you. I found out through much search that foldable bikes are not very easy to come by anymore. I like that this bike can be ridden while watching tv, reading, or playing a video game and you don't have to turn the volume up. Those things distract me so I'll exercise even more. It is sturdy and I've even been purposely off balance and it doesn't tip which I have seen with small exercise bikes.

The only reason I gave it only 4 stars is because of the shipping charge of over 40 dollars which I frankly think is high. Also the outer box came quite banged up and I thought it might be damaged but it was well packaged with Styrofoam so it wasn't banged up inside the box. I also was disappointed in the instructions which were very confusing. After reading them multiple times and shaking my head I looked at the pieces I had and realized all I had to do is put it together by the picture and it fit together easily and quickly with the tool provided. The instructions are completely incomprehensible, but since the nuts and bolts were together, I made sense of the parts without them.
