Price Schwinn 230 Recumbent Exercise Bike

The "new" Schwinn 230 came 9 days after I ordered it. I thought it was strange that two of the plastic bags were tied instead of sealed at the factory and most of the bags were just slipped over the parts instead of sealed on both ends. I think this box had already been opened once before, found defective, returned, and then Amazon shipped it back out as "new."

As I began to assemble the bike, I saw that the seat bottom was missing. I called Amazon and they said they would ship me a new bike and I could send back the old one. Now, this package weighs over 100 pounds and I weigh only 120 lbs and had a heck of a time getting it into my house by myself. I told them that that was not an option to please send me the part, the seat. They said that I could get the part from a local business and they would reimburse me up to $50. I can't even find the part on the internet and Schwinn won't be open until Monday. I'm beginning to have my doubts that I can find the part. I am very frustrated!!!
